The Spotlight, Volume-1, Issue-11:

The October 2025 issue of The Spotlight examines Bangladesh’s political and economic landscape following the August 5, 2024, transition, exploring the aftermath of mass protests, institutional instability, and the emergence of an interim government.

This edition opens with a reflective feature by Professor Dr. Shyamal Das, “Sheikh Hasina: A Visionary Pathfinder and the Architect of Transformation of Bangladesh,” which portrays Sheikh Hasina as a singular leader who navigated the nation’s development, social progress, and gender empowerment with unmatched determination.

The issue also includes an anonymous analytical report titled “From Protest to Looting: The Collapse of the Economy During the Interim Government,” revealing the economic fallout and governance failures under the new regime.

Complementing these major articles are the President’s Message by Prof. Dr. Md. Habibe Millat, which assesses the nation’s economic crisis and calls for structural reform, and an Editor’s Note by Dr. Mohammad Abdur Rashid, who reflects on the erosion of justice, the collapse of law and order, and the moral urgency for national awakening.
