GCDG President Prof. Dr. Md. Habibe Millat Meets Jeremy Corbyn MP and Ayoub Khan MP at UK Parliament
London, United Kingdom – Prof. Dr. Md. Habibe Millat, President of the Global Center for Democratic Governance (GCDG), met with Jeremy Corbyn MP and Ayoub Khan MP at the UK Parliament on Friday, 11 September 2026, for a substantive discussion on the evolving situation in Bangladesh, with particular focus on human rights and democratic rights.

The meeting provided an opportunity to brief the two British parliamentarians on current developments in Bangladesh and to exchange views on issues concerning the protection of fundamental rights, democratic space and respect for democratic principles.
Prof. Dr. Millat underscored the importance of sustained international

democratic situation in Bangladesh.
