Bangladesh at a Democratic Crossroads: Human Rights, Political Inclusion, and the Future of Democratic Governance

The Global Center for Democratic Governance (GCDG), Canada, a Canadian-registered, non-profit, research-oriented think tank, will host an international seminar entitled “Bangladesh at a Democratic Crossroads: Human Rights, Political Inclusion, and the Future of Democratic Governance” on Monday, 13 July 2026, at the Leonard Wolfson Auditorium, Wolfson College, University of Oxford.

The seminar will begin at 5:00 p.m. UK time and will provide an independent, evidence-based platform for discussion on human rights, political inclusion, the rule of law, democratic institutions and the future of democratic governance in Bangladesh.
